
Stress, anxiety and depression are not just labels, conditions, or identifiers that can make us feel SAD. They are words that have the power to frustrate, immobilise and destabilise. But first, we need to clarify our AIM, and identify what is most important to us.

When too many options are simultaneously calling out for our attention. It can be difficult to hear the wisest words. When every option on the table is both visible and viable, it can be difficult to find the purest path to positive progress. AND YET, when the distractions are deleted, when the madness is muted, and when the balloon bursts, silence can be found. And in that silence, when the clock stops ticking, just try to be still, So that, a more rewarding AIM can present itself to you. So, what should you do now?.

Greater FREEDOM might be one of your outcome AIMs, But seeking freedom should not become your first step, because potentially, it only highlights a desire without direction. Yes, it can temporarily provide mental respite. But without achievable actions, desire will dilute and decay over time, and eventually disappear. So, why not dig a little deeper? A better course of action might be to refocus your mind right now, and identify what you really want to free yourself from. Perhaps you want freedom from: negative self-perception, challenging relationships, cash constraints, or health issues... It could be one of a million other things. So, identify that larger issue first, and then dig even deeper, because that issue too might also only represent another future desire without direction. I hope you get the picture. And NO, you're right, we have still not yet identified the AIM that will allow us to take our first achievable-action-step.
